The show this week where these Senators stand in judgment over Wall Street is hilarious. There is no shame or extent to which these politicians won't go for a vote. A. The founding fathers never thought elected positions would become a life time job. They thought it was a public service and you had to sacrifice to serve. Today, the elected officials have built a bird's nest with perks and pensions, and life time free medical. They spend all of their time working on their re elections and over 90% are re elected. Something needs to be done, but like most other problems it is not going to change.
